What is a Heart to Home CPR class?

Our main focus at Heart to Home CPR is providing basic life-saving skills for your infants and children in the comfort of your own home. We want to empower the parents and those who are caring for your children.

Do I have to have the class at my home?

No. You can have it anywhere you would like.

How long is the class?

We prefer to allow two hours. This will depend on how many people attend the class, it is important that everyone has time to practice and have all their questions answered.

What kind of equipment will we be using?

The instructor will bring manikins that provide electronic visual feedback on how you are performing compressions. We will also use a training AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

When are classes available?

Heart to Home CPR wants to be available to accommodate your family’s unique needs so our instructors are available 7 days a week. When you want to schedule a class you can simply email HeartToHomeCPR@gmail.com or call 612-412-7767 to schedule a time that works best for you.

How many people can attend?

We prefer to keep it to 6 participants per class.

Who should attend the Heart to Home CPR class?

Of course, it is highly recommended for parents. Classes often include grandparents, babysitters, nannies, and anyone who may be caring for your children.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the class?

No. We will bring all the equipment. You just need to be present and eager to learn

Do I receive a certification for completing the class?

This is a non-certification class. You will still learn the vital life-saving techniques as a certified class. Certified classes are required for medical professionals and daycare workers.

I do not have an AED in my home. Why is that part of the class?

Heart to Home CPR believes in being prepared no matter where you are. Even if you do not have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) at home you could be out in public when it is needed.

Can I purchase an AED for my home?

Absolutely. This is something you can discuss with your instructor or email HeartToHomeCPR@gmail.com

What happens if I need to cancel the class?

We understand that life happens. Heart to Home CPR will do what we can to work with you and reschedule your class.
